Signing in, connecting a profile and verifying your identity happen once and count for every role.
About the role
You will define what a proven solution means for matching, scheduling, packing and allocation. A feasible answer, or a certificate that none exists.
What you will do
- Designing optimisation families with generated instances
- Writing feasibility and infeasibility certificates
- Reviewing agent solutions for hidden constraint violations
- Finding instances where a greedy answer looks optimal
Who we are looking for
- Training: PhD in operations research, optimisation or equivalent practice
- Solvers: Experience with MIP, CP or custom heuristics in production
- Proof: You can tell a certificate from a claim
- Precision: You write constraints a checker can verify in milliseconds
Credential
PhD in OR or optimisation, or production solver experience.

Up to $180 an hour for this role. Each role shows its top hourly rate, from up to $40 for generalist review to up to $300 for portfolio managers. Your starting rate depends on your credentials; sustained quality moves you towards the top rate. Joining the waitlist is not an offer of work; rates are agreed in writing before any project starts.
